Waffee (CBD)

Finally, another post that lives up to my blog name.

We were on the hunt for a snack one Friday afternoon and were lured in by the aroma of Waffee. As suggested by the name, Waffee specialises coffee and waffles. They also serve ice cream with their waffles, which of course makes me very happy because I love ice cream.
The shop was small in size, so there were limited tables available despite the constant flow of customers. Many people opted to grab their waffle/coffee and go on their way, so the scarce seating didn't seem to be an issue.

My friend and I both opted to get waffles served with ice cream. The waffles themselves varied in price between $2.80 and $4.00, while a scoop of ice cream was an extra $3.50 (or $5.50 for two scoops).

Choc Glazed Waffle ($3.30) and Vanilla Ice Cream ($3.50)
My friend got the choc glazed waffle and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The waffle was freshly made, crispy on the outside but still soft on the inside. The vanilla ice cream had a strong, but not overpowering vanilla flavour which cut through the richness of the chocolate glaze.

White Choc Glazed Waffle ($3.30) and Chocolate Ice Cream ($3.50)
I settled for the white choc glazed waffled accompanied with chocolate ice cream. This was also good as the waffle was cooked to my liking. However in my opinion the vanilla ice cream goes best with the waffle. In saying this, the chocolate ice cream was still delicious.

Waffee definitely satisfied my waffle cravings. With it's convenient location and fast service, it's a great place to stop by for a snack when you're peckish but in a rush.
